Frequently asked questions.

Which ages is ECX for?

The programme covers ages 3 to 18. It is currently available for Year 6 of Primary and Year 1 of Secondary (ESO).

How much time does it take?

We recommend about 15 minutes a day or a one-hour weekly session. Each school decides how to fit it into its timetable: in tutor time, at the start of the day or in wellbeing slots.

What does the school need?

Devices with a web browser (computers, Chromebooks or tablets) and an internet connection.

Does each student need a device?

No. Shared tablets can be used with the class QR code and a PIN.

How are teachers involved?

Each tutor supports their own group. Specialist teachers can request access, which the coordinator approves.

How is it assessed?

With its own assessment model built into the ECX platform, student self-assessment and a termly teacher observation.

How is data protected?

With role-based access, aggregated group data and a journal only the student can see, in line with the GDPR.
