This policy explains how the personal data you provide through this website is processed, in accordance with Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (GDPR) and Spanish Organic Law 3/2018 (LOPDGDD).

2. What data we process

Only the data you give us in the contact form: name, email, school or organisation, role, reason, phone number (optional) and the content of your message. This website is not aimed at minors and does not collect their data.

3. Why we use it

To reply to your request for information or a meeting and, where necessary, to continue communication related to that request. We do not use it to send advertising or to build profiles.

4. Legal basis

Your consent, which you give by ticking the box in the form (Article 6(1)(a) GDPR). You can withdraw it at any time, without affecting processing carried out before.

5. How long we keep it

For as long as needed to handle your request and, at most, twelve months after our last communication, unless a relationship begins that requires us to keep it longer or the law requires it.

6. Recipients

We do not share your data with third parties unless required by law. To run the website and the form, we use technology providers for hosting and email delivery, who act as data processors under a contract that requires them to protect the data. If any of these providers processes data outside the European Economic Area, this is done with the safeguards set out in the GDPR, such as the European Commission’s standard contractual clauses.

7. Your rights

You can exercise your rights of access, rectification, erasure, objection, restriction of processing and portability by writing to info@ecx.education. If you believe we have not handled your request properly, you can lodge a complaint with the Spanish Data Protection Agency (aepd.es).

8. Security

We apply appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect data, such as encrypted connections and restricted access.

9. ECX platform data

This policy only covers the website. The data of students and teachers who use the ECX platform is processed on behalf of each school, which is the data controller, and is governed by the data processing agreement and the information the school provides to families.

We may update this policy. The date of the last update appears at the top of the page.
